The Crucifixion

I met a bright young man while seeking solace at the Ocean Breeze in Pompano Beach, Florida after the Art Basel show.
Unlike most born again Christian’s I had encountered this one was not pushy, boorish, or self righteous.

He seemed to genuinely love Jesus, himself, and humanity.
He showed compassion, confusion, and a desire to learn about life and other cultures.
He described a dream he had to me about Jesus coming down to Earth to save mankind from Original Sin and his Resurrection up to the Kingdom of Heaven after dying on the cross.
He asked me if I could paint his dream.

I picked up a brush in front of him and over the next two days God’s will came forth onto the canvas.

I thank this young man for enlightening me and encouraging me to Embrace Divinity in all its forms and Glory.
